Etienne Aigner was a man born in 1904 in Ersekujvar (Nove Zamky, Slovakia). In 1950, he introduced the Antic Red leather open-pocket bag with angular processing, then in 1959 he opened his first showroom in Manhattan, New York.
Entering the 1980s, Aigner limited the production of his bag products to make room for watches, jewelry, and glasses. The prestige of the Aigner brand successfully bridged the gap between tradition and innovation long after its founders were no longer active. In 2003, Aigner celebrated a spectacular debut at the Milan fashion show. The following 2 years, Aigner opened 20 new stores and expanded its business to the world market. Aigner is a symbol of unique craftsmanship, the best quality, and perfectionism. A brilliant combination of German standards and Tuscan traditions.
