Feels like I’ve been scammed.
I bought this phone as NEW for my daughter. We received it about a week ago but I’m very disappointed. The charger does not fit as the USB chord was not the right match for the adapter. That was an obvious RED FLAG. Not to mention the battery is no good. It has to be charged like twice in a day. Worst Amazon purchase I’ve ever made. A total disappointment.

Phone was not new!
Phone was in a damaged box and was clearly not new. Buyer beware! It was advertised as a brand new device… but when compared to the condition and packaging of my previous brand new device, it was completely different! I promptly returned it.

Beware of patch updates for this phone.
Just because the phone says it is fully unlocked does not meant the phone is fully unlocked. After a samsung patch my phone refused to make calls and texts. Went to my service provider, contacted their text support, contacted samsung tech support, brought it into a samsung approved techncian, switched to yet another service provider as a last resort. The phone cost me hundreds of dollars more on top of the phone between switching service providers and now having had to buy a new phone. I wanted this phone to work so very much but the patch made it unusable. No factory resetting it does not work even the techs did a full reset on it and still nothing. So please beware if you update your phone.

Does not measure up to other brands
I think that it applies to all Samsung phones that, the menu to use the phone is really redundant. So, to make a call for example, it seems that I would have to pad the screen twice: once to open the contact and the second time to make the call. That was not how it was with my previous Sony, LG, or Nokia – it was just one touch.Also, this phone (as probably all Samsungs) is missing the scheduled text message send, a feature I like and use. In addition the Wallpaper and Clock options are really nonsense-How can you see the fine print clock through such dense colorful wallpaper? the black screen [None] is not even an option.The ringtones are cheesy, and there is no old fashioned ringtones, like the regular bell for example. I am old fashioned in that way.My next phone will NOT be a Sumsung.

I had to return this phone which I bought as new. While charging it the above image came up on the screen admonishing me to remove it from the charger because of moisture in the charging port.

Has bugs
The MMS has bugs, can not receive pictures or send them on messages. Also can not do group chats on messages. Sent hours with my provider, they ended up calling Samsung and they admitted they have issues and hopefully it will be resolved in the next update. How long it will take…unknown. The group texts are important to me as we have a few family members who have health problems : (

Awful! Do not buy from this seller!
I am sooooo disappointed in this phone that was sold as a “NEW” product, not refurbished or recycled and I would have expected that it wouldn’t have any issues within owning it less than 2 months! And of course it’s past the return or replacement policy of 30 days 😡 The charging cable no longer charges the phone, and I’ve also tried different cables/charges and none work. However when I tried using the same cable & charger on another Samsung phone, it works fine. Will never buy again from this seller. Would not recommend and future buyers beware!Update: I went to see if the charging port could be replaced and when the technician opened up the phone, they in fact said the phone was definitely NOT brand new due to the glue residue inside the phone.

It is fast!

this phone only worked for 2 weeks
amazon phones seem to be faulty these days. This is my second phone in under 2 months and both had to be returned. I am still waiting for my refund on the second phone and its almost a month. I cannot seem to get any real answers that makes any sense about the pick up and the refund, just constant apologies but no action. I have been chatting with the assistants for as long as over an hour on more than one occasions and just wasting my time and not getting anywhere

Smart Phone is defective
Phone is defective. Will not read sim card. Will not connect to network or not registered on network. After repeated trips to local AT&T store still not working. Spent 4 hours on phone with ATT Advanced Tech Support, was told Sim card reader not working. This has been going on for almost 2 months. Was told no return due to time limit which is my fault due to family health issues. So save our self some money and frustrations, go to a reputable dealer locally.

Not a New Phone
The product description has this listed as a new phone, but the one I recieved was obviously not new. It came with a chip in the screen and a beat up box. I ordered a replacement, and if the new one comes in better shape, I’ll amend this review to reflect that it may have been an honest mistake. Until then, buyer beware, because I suspect this ad is falsely labeled.

Mislead… beware cell not new as claimed.
I brought thus new. Supposedly. The screen stopped working. Its in an Otterbox type case. I took it to an asurian certified cell phone repair center. It seems that the phine was refurbished. The screen that was on the cell phine was not the original screen and it wasnt even the original proper screen. There was so much glue (instead of the original adhesive that he sees when he opens a new cell) inside the cell that it was on the antennae and the tech claimed that I was lucky the phone even worked at all. It did explain why the cell didnt get signal in mny places. The cell phine absolutely looked brand new, but it wasn’t. Where i went to fix it, i know is a reputable place and I trust him, so I know he wasnt lying. So beware. I know this review is 5 months layer than when I brought it. But if it was new…what was found wrong with it should not be.

There’s Too Much To Complain About
The phone doesn’t work. It buffers forever. There are other cell phones in my house that have no problem. But this phone is terrible. I was supposed to be refurbished, but it arrived in need of 8 updates. So I decided to wait until the next day to see if would be better in the morning. Tried to turn the phone off 2 days ago. The on/off button doesn’t work. So I have no control over it. My brother tried to turn it off but it just keeps on trucking. It’s supposed to be a 5G phone but per the the tool bar, it vacillates between 4G and 5G depending on its mood. I went Verizon to buy a pre-paid phone but it had gone up $250.00. Young man said before I started working for Verizon, I ordered one on Amazon and it lasted six years. We looked at what was available and he told me to bring the phone to him, he would transfer my contacts. I did and he took 3 tries before the transfer occurred. I wanted to return it then but he and his manager insisted that the phone was OK.Should’ve listened to my gut, packed up the phone and sent it back immediately. I’m reluctant to add any other apps because it takes too long for it to upload. Needless to say I’m buying a new phone and it won’t be refurbished. Just like with a used car – I bought some else’s. But at least with a car, you can it’s VIN number.I don’t think that this phone was EVER checked for problems. They just packed it and sent another person’s problem to me.

Description was accurate
The seller shipped the item lightning fast. Shipper was great! However, the phone itself as nice as it is to have the features and 5G, the battery life SUCKS! I start with 100% and five minutes later just sitting there loose 5%. The battery charges quickly, but now I have to keep a wireless charger with me at all times because I commute and listen to podcasts. Really think before getting this phone. It’s a good-looking phone but will not stay charged.

Touchscreen issues right out the gate
It looks and works fine 70% of the time… but every now and then, the touchscreen will simply stop working, making it impossible to use the phone. Luckily, I had already put in facial recognition so I’m able to reset the phone which solves the issue until it happens again. Otherwise, it was a great buy at a great price.

The screen freezes once liquid touches it
This is extremely annoying! Every time water touches the screen and I wipe it off, the screen freezes and the only way for it to work is if I restart the phone. There were a few times where liquid didn’t touch the screen at all and it will still do that. I’ve only had this phone for a few months and it’s acting up already. Thank goodness I have a warranty on this! Buyers beware!

Phone is functional but does not support Verizon Visual Voicemail, not able to receive OS updates
Like the size, battery life, basic functional features and the color (navy). However, some Verizon features are not supported on this device. Going in circles with Verizon and Samsung support as build number is not the latest, but Samsung updates not available automatically. This phone was a replacement for my husband’s phone.

Great phone but…..
I received this phone quickly and even though it had some bumps and dings, a case covers all that up. This was a replacement phone for me. I busted the screen on my old phone and this was quicker and just slightly more than a screen replacement. My issue is that this phone never connects to 5g networks, which is one of the features I liked the most.

Meh. Sold as unlocked, there are AT&T and other apps that I can’t remove. Camera resolution issues.
Sure, I could use the Android Dev Kit or disable them from a console on my laptop, but I bought an unlocked phone online precisely so I wouldn’t have to deal with that garbage.* Some of these unwanted apps have greedy permissions that I cannot disable.* Nobody asked for Bixby. Nobody wants it. Nobody likes it. Let me remove it.* The stock photo app doesn’t allow you to take photos at the maximum resolution of the different cameras, even in pro mode. You’re left getting crappy compression artifacts on photos from a camera that was supposed to be a game changer when it came out. Open camera got me a little better quality, but not much. That’s not to say the camera is 100% awful, it’s just hamstrung. It could be a lot better given the hardware. As it stands now, it’s not much better than shooting with an S8 or S9.

Lies and busted
I got this phone in January. When I got it, it came in a box saying that it had been examined and that’s why it was open. I almost returned it then and there but decided to just go with it.It was not only a referbished item, when I believed I was buying a new one, but I was also sent an international version of the phone. Meaning it was made with lower quality parts.The screen would always flash white when I turned it on and when it would go to sleep, it would give a blinding white flash. After less then five months, the screen just died. While the phone still worked, it wouldn’t turn on no matter what I did.Terrible form on Samsung’s part for lying to so many people.
